"Home of the SaddleBrooke Ranch Clubs"

This website is home of SaddleBrooke Ranch clubs ("SBR Clubs"). The SBR HOA website links to this website to present all SBR Clubs to all residents and the general public.

Sites within this overall website are in most cases sites for the clubs, in other cases, special documents that provide information about the club. Regardless of the form, the club information must be viewable to the general public without requiring signing up for an account or signing in to the site.

Clubs, Associations, Groups, Activities ... What's the difference? All of these are special interest organizations operated by residents of SaddleBrooke Ranch for the benefit of all our residents wishing to join. Organizations refer to themselves as "associations", "groups" and "activities" in addition to "clubs". There is no practical distinction among these organizations, and all require taking steps to form their organization with the HOA. For purposes of this website, the term "clubs" is used to refer to all such organizations.

All clubs organized in conjunction with the SaddleBrooke Ranch HOA are considered to be SBR Clubs and included on this website. Only SBR Clubs are listed here.

Add Your Club or Community Activity

This website presents all clubs that are "recognized" by the SBR HOA and thus be an SBR Club. To form an HOA recognized club, the chief officer ("CO") of the club meets with the HOA Admin who is designated by the SBR HOA to have the responsibility for making sure club officials are aware of responsibilities and to signify agreement by signing the document(s) as the HOA deems necessary and that may change from time to time. The CO is typically the President of the club, for those clubs that have a formal organization with elevted officers or is the acknowledged leader of the club. The Admin initializes the club by making entries into a database and gives the CO a password so that the CO or his/her delegate can complete the information that the club wants to be seen by the public.

Inclusion of your club on this website is free.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ items will be added to address questions that I am receiving.

For site visitors

  • How do I use this site? Select a club category from the list below. Click it to open a list of clubs in that category. Click the club title to open the club website or other document that describes the club. Extra "widget" (special functions) are often provided; click the icons to discover what they provide (many are intuitive), or check out the widget icon explanations in this FAQ.
  • Why doesn't the club name act as a link for some clubs? As of your reading of this, some or many clubs may not have entered the information for their club. This site is under development, and even when completed, there may be clubs being formed that are in the condition.
  • How do I contact someone at the club from this site? Notice the names associated with small envelope icons. Click one according to your purpose for contacting the club. An email form opens for you to submit your query.

For club officials

  • How do I form a club? Once you know what your club is, who the Chief Official for the club will be along with that person's email address, and the Club Name, you will meet with the HOA Admin for SBR Clubs to register your club. In that meeting, the Admin will enter that information, and when submitted, the club will be formed and appear on this site. Only HOA-registered clubs (meaning as well groups and activities) will automatically appear on this site.
  • Who enters the information about my club? A club offial does. It's up to the "Chief Official" to determine who it is, and most will opt for themselves to do that. The club official will log in to a special page where they can enter and edit that information. But that feature is not yet ready.
  • When will I be able to enter the information for my club? Not scheduled at this time, but the feature should be ready in the next few months. In the meantime, submit a link for your club name, and I will enter that for you. The rest of it will have to wait for that feature.
  • How do I determine the category for my club? In most cases, it will be obvious. In other cases, determine the main point of the club and pick a category accordingly. In rare cases, it may be necessary to create a new category. That's simple for a club to do, but we are concerned about a proliferation of categories making the site more difficule to use. For that reason, the HOA Admin person with whom you work to register your club will work with you to select a category.
  • How do I get a website for my club? Numerous options are available. First, you might not need a website depending on the nature of your club and the amount of information you can provide about your club in the listing on this page. Or a simple PDF file may suffice, where more information needs to be provided than is appropriate for the club description in this listing. If a true website is needed, there are options. Among those options is a member of the club with suitable skills creating one using, for example, one of the many template website generator apps (such as provided by GoDaddy, VIX, SiteBuilder, and others). If a custom site is needed and no one in the club has the skills for doing that, you can contract with someone or an organization of your choice to do that. There may be others in SBR who will offer that service. Under certain conditions, I will be availale to create simple websites. More information will be forthcoming on this topic.
